Dr. Kroum Dimitrov’s journey into oral surgery began long before he entered a classroom. His grandmother was the first female oral surgeon in Bulgaria, and her influence shaped his entire philosophy of care. Inspired by her example, Dr. Dimitrov knew by middle school that his life’s work would be in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dr. Dimitrov moved to the United States with a singular focus – to obtain the world’s most advanced training in facial and reconstructive surgery.
Surgical Residency: Completed a rigorous Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine / Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Undergraduate Excellence: Graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors from the University of Massachusetts.
Doctoral Training: Earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the prestigious University of Connecticut.
