Preparing for Your Procedure
To ensure the highest level of safety, patients receiving general anesthesia must follow these strict guidelines:
- Fast for 8 Hours: No food or drink (including water) for at least 8 hours prior to surgery.
- Bring a Driver: You must have a responsible adult accompany you, stay in the office during surgery, and drive you home.
- Medical Review: We will perform a comprehensive review of your health history and current medications during your consultation to customize your anesthesia plan.
